Ciao and welcome to our new fantastic and exciting blog. I am new to the blogging world but I have a lot to say so it suits me. I am FireMe. I am the dog running top speed all the time. I would love the chance to just stay home and lick myself (for lack of a better phrase) from time to time. I work full time, am a realtor on the side, and have two charming yet incredibly ornery boys. I am married to the CEO of Workaholics Incorporated. I am pulled so many different ways in a day. If stretch armstrong was an octopus, that would be how I feel.
The reason for the title:
I have this full time job that I cant seem to quit. I try to quit, I plan to quit, I prepare to quit.......and alas I DONT QUIT. So my best bet to be able to stay home and ...well you know (see above)....is for them to fire me. I could draw unemployment for a few months, or not, whatever. But at least I would be able to slow down a little, maybe do a load of laundry before midnight, or go to a parents luncheon at my childs school. Do they still have parent luncheons???
As for my cousin, HireMe, I will let her tell her own story but believe me it will be interesting. In all my life I have never heard a story of hers that didnt make me go HMMMM.
As I go back and read the above for any errors that may change the content of my chatter, I cant help but realize how insensitive it sounds in these economic times. I have two jobs, I am gratefully exhausted. With that said I now transition to HireMe's upcoming post....
